In an effort to be more fair, the TB Triple Crown will now accept all Thoroughbred crosses as well as pure bloods. If possible, horses should have at least 25% TB blood, but this is not a strict rule. We are, after all, the Universal Racing Association.5/6/13 - Prep races are up for the last two Crown races! Please check them out and bring your kids! Multiple races for youngstock, turf horses and more!
Dates are finalized - and pushed back - for all three crown races. The real life derby is tomorrow, and I'm sure all of us want to watch that one if we can, instead of scrambling to finish our own. There are many slots still available for all three races, so please enter. Don't let these few folks take all the bragging rights for the year!
Hello and welcome to the Universal Racing Association's Thoroughbred Triple Crown - 2013! While these races are the equivalent to the real life crown, we have adjusted a few things to make play more enjoyable for our members. I'll be your main moderator/admin for this event ( ~
Niur-Tarow ), so please come to me with any questions or concerns.

I'm dropping by this page simply because I'm starting a racing stable with horses that were at one time original characters of mine on another game. I've been trying to find a community to race them actively and I've started watching your group last week. I have a couple questions since I've not actually seen much activity in that week.
Do you offer a lot of races? By this, do you host 2 y/o races and so forth? Or is it mostly for the 3 y/os. And, are you the only active racing community on dA? Or, are there others?
We have been quiet the past couple of months, but we're trying to get back on our sleepy feet (school = OVER!
I can offer whatever races you need, 2 yos are welcome as any other horse is ^^ (I usually host a maiden for 2 yos, every month, and we offer steeplechasing as well, which horses up to 15 compete in and win in, real life so we use it here too!)
There are other communities, um, lessee... It kind of depends on your horses. The URA is the only one that includes EVERYONE and allows inter-breed competition (our major events are open to every horse, no matter breed, whereas groups like R-A-C-E is Thoroughbred exclusive, and doesn't accept any other horses).
- Monthly races, [link] so races every month for all racing disciplines, breeds and ages. Some are specifically youngstock, for 2yos, others are for 3 yo and up.
- Right now/coming up is the TB triple Crown for 3 yos, other breeds will have Crowns as well, and may not be age restricted [link]
- later this year all breeds will also have a Breeder's cup, with races for different ages. And some other group races as well. Note that some of these larger races have restrictions or benefits for horses racing in events prior to those specific races.

it is just re-starting under my management (partly) and we are hoping to make it popular and used by many
Thanks
